Description and time stamps below. 0:00 Introduction 0:45 Important specifications--weight, thickness, r-value 4:15 User experiences--feel and comfort, using alone and as a supplemental pad 8:13 Comparison to folding (egg crate) close cell foam pads 11:11 Thrilling conclusion! In which I do a comparison and review of the Therm-a-rest Ridgerest Classic and Solite. The specifications on these pads is about the same but there are some subtle differences, like the weight, thickness, texture, and r-value. I thought it was interesting that there were some subtle differences between these pads, so I decided to make a video on them. One pad is not necessarily better than the other, but they are just slightly difference. Regardless, I find them too uncomfortable to sleep on and only use them to supplement my air pads, but these closed cell foam pads work for some people.
