Alright! For (probably) the last time, we're doing a variation on a topic that has garnered much fanfare here on the channel. This topic was much requested, and to be honest, I hesitated even making this video because of the shear VOLUME of national parks that have been proposed over the years. But, I found a way to constrain the criteria, limiting us to 11 total parks (+ 5 bonus ones) that have been authorized as units of the National Park System, but for whatever reason, have just never been fully established. Again, I think these videos make for a great exercise in perspective, helping us to understand the full depth and breadth of the the National Park System over the years. It helps us to understand how it has evolved and changed with the times. I really don't think I'll be able to wring another video out of this topic, so for the last time, enjoy!
