Thank you all for the support of the years, its been an incredible journey. I successfully defended my thesis a couple weeks ago and my time at Boston University has come to an end. Luckily was able to have the department record the defense for those that missed it, sorry for the poor audio quality though. Chapter 5 is entirely new material that has not been previously published and contains the details for how we were able to obtain the level of performance from the previous flight video I posted.
I'm very excited for the future that lies ahead. More sophisticated control algorithms will allow us to create interesting and complex aircraft designs that are safer and have larger flight envelopes.
Through my PhD I've been on a mission to develop next generation flight control systems. Moving forward, I'm now looking to develop next gen high performance eVTOL personal aircraft whether that means joining an existing team or forming one of my own.
