Just south of Kuala Lumpur is a futuristic city called Cyberjaya, and with a name like that, we expected something out of a sci-fi movie. What we found was even more fascinating! We booked an Airbnb for a month in Tamarind Square, a beautifully designed apartment complex that feels like a self-contained village. Pools, a gym, shaded courtyards, and endless greenery—it’s no wonder Tamarind Square won an award in 2022.
In this video, we bring you along as we explore Cyberjaya and nearby Putrajaya, visit IOI City Mall (one of the largest malls in Malaysia), and give a lighthearted review of the travel gear we’ve been using for over a year—including shoes that have been across the globe with us.
