*Don't Forget To Like & Subscribe For More AVRT and Sober-Life Content* I have been occasionally reflecting on the early days of sobriety and how tough but also exhilarating that time was. In this video I speak on the importance of the decision to quit, the acceptance of negative emotions being a normal part of life, the crucial aspect of understanding that fear of relapse is actually the addictive voice. Ultimately just arriving at the understanding sobriety just means you rejoin normal life and normal life is hard sometimes. The Book I Referenced Is Rational Recovery: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rational-Recovery-Cure-Substance-Addiction/dp/0671528580 I've been meaning to make more content on sobriety, recovery and sober-life because I know many people struggle with this and I can remember how tough those early days were. I know I've focused mostly on the meditation and spirituality content recently and I wanted to start making some videos that will be useful for the people who follow me for recovery videos too, to me it's all part of the same process of full, complete and total health of body and mind. --- #sober #sobriety #abstinence #alcoholfree
