It is a late December day on our Norwegian small farm or homestead if you will. Our roads are covered with fresh snow so we cannot drive anyway. That is a problem as we have many Christmas parties, we are going to attend so we need to get going. There is only one problem. Our rear tractor blade or snow plow if you will is broken. The hinge bolt that is holding the entire assembly is loose so we need to fix it. I would not have predicted that this would completely change the way the blade handles so I am struggling to pull it with my trusty old Fiat 440 tractor as the blade is so stiff now instead of flopping up and down behind the tractor as it used to do. Time to put the restoration of our other tractor a fiat 480-8 DT in to high gear so we have a tractor that is strong enough to use the fixed blade. The first problem we are going to attend is the flat front tire.
