Hello everyone!
In this video, I’m creating an innovative box design that has never been made before. This unique structure is designed to hold three books 'Das Deutch Lichtbild' from 1931, 1932, and 1933, each with different thicknesses. The challenge is to ensure that each book fits perfectly while maintaining an elegant and functional design.
Watch as I go through the entire process—from measuring and cutting the boards to constructing the inner slipcases, reinforcing the structure, and adding final details like leather straps and hot stamping. This project is all about precision, creativity, and problem-solving, and I’m excited to share it with you!
This box is constructed from 3 slipcases bound together. If you want to see how my idea became a functional slipcase you can watch the video here: https://youtu.be/Sck2IYmcsS4
