Another day on the Tuna grounds. The day before this, Mike got an over that chose not to fight and we got it to the boat in under 5 minutes. Today it was my turn, and my fish fought as you would expect a BFT to fight. At this point I had no fighting belt, or rod butt cushion, so fighting a bigger fish wasn't exactly as comfortable or easy as it could have been (I still dont have a fighting belt, or a butt cushion.. maybe next year). After that, our hot morning bite died, and we sniffed all around the rest of the morning before finding a little bit of life midday in an otherwise desert.
