Author Douglas Murray has slammed California Governor Gavin Newsom over his conduct during the Los Angeles fires.
“This goes right to the top. It’s Governor Newsom who is doing this nonsense, it’s the local mayor who is doing this nonsense, the heads of the fire service who are doing this nonsense,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“In the end, somebody has to be responsible for the fact that there is no water coming out of the fire hydrants.
“I hope very much the residents who’ve suffered from this realise that this stuff is not a joke, and things were always too late for this nonsense, and they’re certainly too late for it now.”
