Travelling on the wrong trains on the wrong date is a clear contravention of the rules of your ticket right? Or is it? Well, tbh I'd had so much mis-information and inaccurate advice leading up to the day of travel, I'd got to the point where I just didn't care one way or the other! I just thought 'what have I got to lose'!?
Join me as I battle with poor ticketing information and cancelled trains as I venture down to Cardiff and then onto Fishguard to take the ferry from there over to Dublin.
Due to port damage at Holyhead, Stena had re-routed their service on the MS Adventurer and they very kindly allowed me to change my sailing with them accordingly. Was it as easy to do this with Transport for Wales and the rail sections of this sail rail ticket? Well, what do you think!?!
This should've been an easy trip but the terrible customer service and advice I received from Transport for Wales led to a very stressful first day of the journey. And I don't believe it should've been that way.
Once aboard the ship, I had a very enjoyable crossing and I'll show you all the usual features that the MS Adventurer has to offer on this vessel. But honestly the day before was so much hassle I'm not sure I'd want to do that part of the trip again!
