This Is Spinal Tap (1984) is a mockumentary comedy film directed by Rob Reiner, who also stars as filmmaker Marty DiBergi. The film follows the fictional British heavy metal band Spinal Tap as they embark on a disastrous tour across the United States to promote their latest album.
