Ever since I first heard This Is War sometime back in early 2011, I've wanted to make this video. Specifically, I felt that there was a strong connection between the intermediate scene in the SWTOR Hope trailer and the quieter section of This Is War, and I really wanted to make a video based around these parts. However, until the SWTOR Return trailer, I did not feel that there was enough material to make a fully-fledged music video like I envisioned - so I was very excited when the intro cinematic came out.
This is my first time making a music video of any kind, so I would appreciate any advice or comments you might have. The video itself kind of took on a life of its own as I was making it - much of what I planned didn't work out, and a lot of what I hadn't even considered ended up fitting beautifully. So this was a really cool learning experience for me, and if things turn out well, I might consider making more videos in my spare time.
As it is, I really have made this video for you - without your time and approval, I would have had no motivation, so thank you very, very much! I hope you enjoy(ed) watching this video as much as I enjoyed making it. :)
