In Argentina, Argentines and foreigners have equal rights in terms of "FREE PUBLIC HEALTH AND EDUCATION", however not everyone agrees with this, since there are those who consider that the benefit of free public education and health should be exclusive only for Argentines, but NOT FOR FOREIGNERS.... Today we will consult the opinion of the people in the streets... is it time for foreigners to start paying? Or should everything continue to be free (EDUCATION AND HEALTH) equally for foreigners and Argentines?
#NOTE 👉 The Migration Law 25.871 of Argentina establishes that education and health are services to which foreigners and Argentines have equal access:
Article 6 establishes that the State must guarantee equal access to social services, public goods, health, education, justice, work, employment and social security.
Article 7 establishes that migratory irregularity does not prevent the admission of a foreigner to an educational establishment.
Article 8 establishes that access to the right to health, social assistance or health care cannot be denied or restricted to foreigners who require it.
The right to health in Argentina is universal, regardless of immigration status and the documentation held.
