We all know Scar as the evil lion who killed his own brother, Mufasa. But Scar wasn’t always evil. Because with the new Mufasa movie coming out, we see a whole new side of Scar, back then still called Taka. He was a very sweet little cub that always dreamed of having a brother. So when he saw a cub that was about to be eaten by a crocodile, he saw his chance. He saved the little cub from the crocodiles, and proudly took him back to his home. But his father, Obasi, wasn’t happy with the stray. And when he heard his name was Mufasa, which means king, Obasi was completely furious. But Taka’s mother, Eshe, thinks they should give the cub a chance. So Obasi suggested they should have a race, if Mufasa wins, he can live with the lionesses of Obasi’s pride. If Taka wins, they will finish Mufasa. It was a close call, but when Taka realised he wasn’t gonna have a brother if he won, he slowed down. Telling Mufasa his secret, that he always wanted a brother, and the kind Taka let Mufasa win the race. Obasi got angry and couldn’t see the good in this, but he kept his word and let Mufasa stay with the lionesses. But if Taka was so kind back then, what could’ve changed him? Well, i think this was mainly Obasi’s fault, and here’s why;
