This man wasn’t just a master of laughter; his life had its fair share of tears as well. You might remember him as the actor and comic who dabbled in game show hosting, even presenting the pilot episode of the classic snooker gameshow Big Break. But we knew him best as Frank Butcher in EastEnders, the lovable rogue caught in the middle of fiery battles between Pat and Peggy—played by Pam St Clement and the late Dame Barbara Windsor.
