This Turkish Flatbread is Mind Blowing!! | How To Make Lavash Flatbread

Today we're baking Turkish Lavash Pita, one of my favourite handmade fresh breads! Here's the recipe: 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast 1 1/4 cups warm water 2 teaspoons sugar 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 3 1/2 cups flour 2 1/2 teaspoons fine salt Sesame seeds, for garnish 1. Combine warm water, yeast, sugar and set aside until frothy 2. combine salt and flour 3. create a well in the flour and combine the yeast mixture and melted butter. Slowly incorporate until you form a turn. Turn out onto floured surface and knead until smooth (10 minutes), 4. grease a bowl and set dough aside for 15 minutes and then knead dough a second time until very smooth. Place back in the bowl and set aside until dough doubles in size. 5. pre heat the over to 450ºF. Once dough has risen, punch it down and roll it into a rectangle shape and cut it into 6 equal sizes. Form each piece into a ball and cover it with a damp tea towel for another 15 minutes. 6. grease a baking sheet with olive oil and set aside. Roll a ball out as thin as possible and place on baking sheet. 7. bake the lavash for 4 minutes and then flip the pita over and turn the baking tray around and bake for an additional 4 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool down for a few minutes. 8. enjoy!
