đ¶ Have you ever had a piece of gear completely change your perspective? That just happened to me with the Shure V15 Type IV phono cartridge, and I wasnât expecting it at all.
Iâve always been in the "new cartridge, new stylus" campâno compromises when it comes to my turntable setup. But after picking up an incredible vintage record collection, I decided to try something different. I mounted the Shure V15 Type IV on a Technics turntable, and⊠wow. The sound was dynamic, punchy, and shockingly quietâit even went head-to-head with my beloved Denon DL-103 moving coil cartridge!
