Little Rafiki was sitting in his tree with his friend Junia. At first, Rafiki only told her about the dreams he was getting. His dreams weren’t just dreams, they felt like visions of the future. He had been trying to connect with the spirits up in the sky since he was little. He was wise, but strange, that is why the other baboons in his tree didn’t feel like he belonged there. Rafiki was born with one leg that didn’t work. So when the other baboons heard Rafiki healed his own leg, they were all sure he was crazy. But not for Junia. She saw all the good things Rafiki did. How he healed the other baboons and found the water in the dry season. But the rest of his tree had enough of his weird visions, they were scared he attracted evil to their tree. So one day, Rafiki got kicked out. But he wasn’t sad at all. He had been getting visions of a beautiful place called Milele, where a brother was waiting for him. So he knew now was the time to go there. He could already see himself with his brother under a giant baobab tree. He said goodbye to Junia and left his tree, starting his journey to find the brother from his dreams…
