When the sport becomes the focus, street efficiency is sacrificed. I am not the only only that believes that, but I am actually saying it. Any combat system that is sporterized loses much of its combat efficiency. Some people don't care about that, and that is fine...but those who do, might benefit from knowing that. Recently Hickson Gracie said the same thing about Jujitsu.
