In this build series, I am working with Cliff Hall, a toolmaker from New Zealand. Cliff has invented a thread milling attachment for a knee mill that allows for cutting both internal and external threads of both metric and imperial pitches. It can be mounted on the rear edge of the XY table of a Bridgeport style mill and it is entirely manually operated. In this episode:
* Machining the pivot support arm.
* Assembly of the ratio arm and pivot support arm
* Trial assembly of all the up to date parts
* Drilling the mill table to take the Threadexpress mounting plate
* Fitting Threadexpress to the mill for the first time!
* What's happening behind the scenes (and what's holding up progress on Threadexpress.
