THREE PERFECT DAYS IN WINNIPEG! (Your ultimate guide to exploring Manitoba's capital city) #canada

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Winnipeg, Manitoba is one of Canada's most under-rated cities, located right in the heart of the country near the longitudinal center of Canada. In this video, I spend 3 perfect days in this vibrant prairie metropolis to uncover its hidden gems and best-kept secrets. If you've never considered a visit to this energetic, modern city, you'll quickly see why this city is becoming one of Canada's hottest trending travel destinations. Join me as I take you for a full tour around Winnipeg, beginning at The Forks - the confluence of the Red & Assiniboine Rivers that has served as a historic crossroads and meeting place for centuries. Here, I visit the bustling Forks Market followed by a cruise on the two rivers with Winnipeg Waterways. After, I visit the inspiring Canadian Museum for Human Rights, housed in one of the world's most impressive architectural marvels. From the Forks, I head across the river into the French Quarter of St. Boniface to admire its stunning historic Basilica, enjoy some riverfront views of the city, and have a delicious Metis-inspired meal at the Promenade Brasserie. Later, I head to the Bridge Drive-In to try what is arguably Winnipeg's best ice cream. I spend the second day of my visit exploring Assiniboine Park, enjoying a delicious breakfast made with local ingredients at the Park Cafe, followed by greeting the polar bears at the impressive Assiniboine Park Zoo. After fuelling up at the Gather Kitchen & Bar, I move on to explore The Leaf - one of Winnipeg's newest attractions, with architecture that seems right out of Singapore or Dubai. This stunning botanical garden boasts one of the world's tallest indoor waterfalls, and offers a lush, tropical setting to enjoy both local & international flora. I end my second day with a visit to Low Life Brewing to sample their signature brews. On my third and final day, I take you to the Manitoba Museum to discover the replica of the Nonsuch, the historic Hudson's Bay Company ship that kicked off Canada's fur trade. After, I take a walking tour around the century-old Exchange District to get a glimpse of what Winnipeg was like during its early days, followed by a great Ukrainian-Canadian lunch at the James Ave. Pumphouse. After, I explore Inuit art at the excellent WAG-Qaumajuq gallery, then end my three perfect days in Winnipeg at the impressive Manitoba Legislature. Have you been to Winnipeg?
