At the northeastern tip of mainland Norway, lies a wild land called Varanger. It houses a plethora of fascinating wildlife that survive its biting cold and brutal storms. In March and April of 2024, I dedicated three weeks to searching for and photographing these specialized species, bringing you along on my journey.
In this episode, I photograph willow grouse, rock ptarmigan, purple sandpipers, pine grosbeaks, Arctic redpolls, moose, Northern hawk owls, mountain hares and the elusive Arctic fox.
