Episode 39 - Countdown 3, 2, 1, and we have liftoff! Houston, we have a successful launch title for the Sega Genesis!
Released in August 1989 as one of the 6 launch titles for the Sega Genesis (along with Altered Beast, Last Battle, Space Harrier II, Super Thunder Blade and Tommy Lasorda Baseball), this game was hands down the best launch title out of the bunch (in my opinion, of course).
But at the end of the day, is that saying much? Usually overlooked by its 2 older brothers, Thunder Force 3 and Thunder Force 4 (aka Lightening Force), this game is usually left behind by most Sega Genesis fans. Should this game be forgotten?
