Thunderbike Race bike Prep series, this fourth video follows the preparation of a series eligible Ducati 748 race bike
Hi Everyone
In this video the process I set the valve clearance for the Ducati 748 heads and 748SP camshafts.
This video goes through the measurement process for the achieving the correct clearances on both the opening and closing shims within the Desmodronic valve train
This video also talks through the difference in SP cams to the standard cams I have removed
Subsequent videos will cover the modification, rebuild and set-up of the engine before I move onto more videos detailing me building and preparing the race bike itself before taking it to the track
