My Chester Leech took its maiden swim in the waters of Argentina's Lago Strobel, better known to most as Jurassic Lake. This blend of Simi Seal dubbing and natural squirrel tail has proven itself on a number of occasions since. The use of a tungsten Head Turner bead allows you to fish this pattern using traditional cast and retrieve techniques. If you attach the Chester Leech to your tippet using a clinch or improved clinch knot, this pattern will hang horizontally under a strike indicator. It is a tying style many other tyers have incorporated with their patterns. One, I highly recommend you consider adding to the leech section of your fly box.
