A year ago I upgraded my Gameboy - installed backlight and bivert mod, this truly gave it a new life (video of screen pre and post modding is on my channel).
My absolute favorite game was Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins that had an unbelievable game saving function. As soon as my friend got same handheld we even played several games via Game Link Cable.
I remember an excuse I invented for my parents to allow me to play more – I said that it has an LCD display, so unlike TVs of that era it is harmless for the eyes. Eventually I believed in it myself:)
