Real arcade hardware recorded using the Elgato Cam-link 4K and the OSSC. Upscaled to 4K 60FPS.
All of the clips were recorded using my own arcade hardware from my personal collection. No emulation or clips from other YouTube channels were used. NOT MAME!
I’m only doing the arcade versions Time Crisis 1-4 + Crisis Zone because I do have the original arcade hardware for those games. (No Time Crisis 5,Razing Storm or console versions of the games.)
I have done gameplays for all the games except Time Crisis 4, why?, because I’m too lazy to set it up and I need to make some connectors. UPDATE: since the making of this video, I did do some Time Crisis 4 gameplay. It’s available on my channel!
Games listed with the year and hardware they ran on:
As you can see, almost all of them ran on “super” hardware except the first release of Time Crisis 2 and Time Crisis 3 (does not work on the Namco System 256/super 256 and there’s no such thing as a super 246)
Almost all of the games ran on custom hardware except Time Crisis 3 and Time Crisis 4, which were based on the Sony PlayStation 2 architecture. Time Crisis 5 used PC hardware and Razing Storm ran on Sony PlayStation 3 hardware (Namco System 357).
Hope you enjoy this video :)
