Well, it's been an long-winding road, but thanks to the amazing MAME community, we're finally getting closer to Time Crisis II being accurately emulated on MAME. If this is the last Namco System 23 update we get, I'd still be happy as I think the game is running close to 90-95~% perfection at this rate. Some notable graphical issues still persist but all the major ones have been irone'd out.
- No more the seizure inducing stage floor on 1-1
- No longer the massive blue void that tries to consume the game from 2-2 onwards.
- Health Bar and Bullets being rendered properly on the HUD
I am extremely glad we have arrived at this stage that one would load this up into a Emucabinet and use as their main way to re-experience the nostalgia that is Time Crisis II.
Once again huge thank you for the MAME community for making this possible, and getting me excited to read all the new release notes to see when work on the System 23 was being done. Also sorry for me extremely mid-gameplay.
