This step-by-step tutorial demonstrates how to design a pair of 3D printable, acorn-shaped salt & pepper shakers using Tinkercad.

Add some personality to your table with a pair of these acorn-shaped shakers. It's almost a no-brainer that the salt shaker be printed in white and the pepper in black. But we're more imaginative than that. And who says the top and bottom need to be the same color. Shake it up and have some fun with it.

Each shaker consumes about 15 grams of filament in just over an hour. So you could print a bunch for different occasions, for gifts or just to squirrel away.

Inventor Studios is a fun, supportive and challenging S.T.E.A.M. -focused learning environment for 3rd - 12th grade students that instills a sense of wonder about how the world works and prepares them to reach for acceptance to first-choice colleges and then on to rewarding and impactful careers.
