‘Ghost’ teachers in Sindh get paid Rs20m.
People of Sindh are now trying to get rid of these ghost teachers and want there children educated. This struggle was initiated by Mr Liaqat Mirani, Who is the Teacher at Government Science College, Dokri, Sindh. As many as 40,000 teachers are ghost and over 5,000 schools are closed in entire Sindh province. Many ghost teachers have gone out of the country to Saudi Arabia and Dubai and many are working in other private sectors but they are drawing monthly salaries regularly.
