Hey Everyone, Subscribe above by clicking that red box, or click here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCB-ivkTBk4ujIr1yF8GgdDQ Thank you so much for the support. So this video is another film that details “Tips and Everything You’ll Need to Know” to hike or backpack to Spade Lake in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness of Washington State. I made a similar video about a month ago for the Enchantments, and to my surprise it went over very well and I received a lot of positive feedback on it - So I thought I’d make this one to go with it. In this video, I’ll discuss how we tackled the trip and everything in between. This includes where we began, where we ended, what trails to take, mileages, elevations, campsites, etc. etc.. you get the point! I hope it’s helpful for anyone planning a trip here, as it’s a spectacular area and I highly recommend it to check out for yourself sometime. Here’s some quick stats on the trip that I tracked along the way: -Salmon La Sac Trailhead to Waptus Lake: 9.28 miles hiked in 5 hours 49 minutes with a vertical ascent of 1,149 feet. -Waptus Lake to Spade Lake: 6.4 miles hiked in 4 hours 50 minutes with a vertical ascent of 4,261 feet. -Spade Lake Camp to Venus Lake: 1.4 miles in 1 hour 0 minutes with a vertical ascent of 614 feet. If you want to see the full footage of our trip, check out the episodes here of our entire adventure to Spade Lake: -Hiking to Waptus Lake: https://youtu.be/5RKxOxlSdSY -Hiking to Spade Lake (From Waptus Lake): https://youtu.be/La0jacGN72I -Hiking to Venus Lake (From Spade Lake): https://youtu.be/yah8B1q9Jq8 -Hiking out of Spade Lake to the River Camp, and then to the Trailhead: https://youtu.be/GwPq3AXM544 -HD Short Version of the Entire Trip: https://youtu.be/YhTozzn6Pvk In the video I mentioned some gear that I recommended - Here are the links to those: **(These are affiliate links, which means if you choose to purchase an item using them then I will receive a small commission of the sale with no extra cost to you.
