Tips For Changing Shims and Adjusting Valve Clearance on a BMW F650GS Dakar.

This is a brief overview with the most important lessons I learnt from changing the shims on my f650GS Dakar.

This is single spark 2001 model which uses 29mm shims in an over-bucket configuration.

Twin Spark Models use a 10mm shim under-buckets.
