VERSE:
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. (ISAIAH 43:2 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today we will meditate on the promise that "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." (Isaiah 43:2). .
Many times fear grips us. There are many fears within us like fear of falling, fear of rejection. It is because of fear that you cannot take strong and courageous decisions in life. You know that you have to overcome many obstacles before reaching your desired goal. But the Lord wants to strengthen you with this word. “I will be with you when you cross the waters; When you cross rivers, they will not overflow over you;…” (Isaiah 43:2).
Walking on water today? Jesus is going to teach us how. The Lord will walk with us and keep us from succumbing to the problems that rage like the ocean.
Look at the dedication of the marathon runners. Despite physical weakness and unhappiness, they keep their eyes on the prize and run towards the goal. Likewise, you may face many struggles. However, keep your eyes on the target. You may face challenges as you journey toward a promise the Lord has blessed you with.
Look at Moses. Like Pharaoh's son, he gave up everything to fulfill his promise. In the midst of these barriers, scornful and unbelieving people, he continued to travel knowing that the Lord was always with him. In the same way, the Lord is with you even in the midst of your struggle. He promises that He will never leave you or forsake you. Look at the hardships Moses went through to fulfill the promise. In the midst of reproaches and difficult things, he continued to trust in the Lord's presence. Likewise, the Lord is with you in every struggle. So resist the temptation to look left or right and look straight at the target. Challenging times will soon pass; The promise will be fulfilled.
When a teenager goes skiing for the first time, he sees many people gliding like the wind on the ice. It is a very beautiful scene. He wanted to try it too.
While he was putting on his ski boots, he also noticed some people falling down and getting hurt. He thought how much more hurt he would be if he fell down too. Slowly fear gripped him. He was very nervous. So, he took each step and holding the edges, somehow started to walk on the snow! But his friend who was with him must have fallen down at least 50 times. However, within half an hour he learned to skate beautifully.
Beloved, if we are afraid of falling, we cannot learn. So never worry about falling down. In fact, falling is a necessary exercise in learning to walk on water.
Just as Jesus taught Peter how to walk on water, He will teach us when we ask. “Call upon me in times of trouble; I will release you, and you will glorify me.” (Psalm 50:15) He will hear your cry when you call and deliver you from danger and protect you.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord! I thank you for your promise to be with me. I thank You for the assurance that You will help me reach my goal as I keep my eyes on You and continue to reach my goal. May I prosper in my paths. Glory be to your name. May your presence always be in my life. You teach me and guide me in the right way. When I go through problems and struggles, You are with me and deliver me. Bless me so that I don't drown in the waters of worry. I pray in Jesus name Good Father, Amen.
