In April, we returned to Tokyo to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Orihara Shouten, followed by a sake tour through Hiroshima and Shikoku. During our time in Tokyo, we managed to savor some great food as well. Upon arrival, we headed straight to Tsukiji Market for an early morning sushi breakfast—one of the few spots in the city where you can find sushi so early. Afterward, we enjoyed a leisurely walk through Hama Rikyu Gardens, where the sakura trees were in full bloom. For lunch, we met friends at La Provence in the InterContinental Tokyo Bay, enjoying a fine French dining experience. By mid-afternoon, we checked in at Bay Hotel Hamamatsucho. Later, around 4 p.m., we visited Asano Nihonshuten for a sake happy hour before finishing the evening with a relaxed izakaya dinner at Gotojin Hamamatsucho.
