Everything has an end, and so there is also a conclusion to the tomato variety presentations for the 2024 season. With this video, there are over 220 varieties that I was able to introduce to you. Unfortunately, the weather didn't play along, there were still a few more varieties being grown. But I couldn't film the varieties in time.
My conclusion about the season is mixed. The cool conditions in spring delayed growth. So we weren't able to harvest the first significant crop until mid-August, 2 weeks later than usual. The heavy rain from the end of August was a big problem for the plants, and the dry spot disease spread rapidly. Many tomatoes then gradually gave up. But at least the harvest was satisfactory, even if it was a relatively short season, so no tomatoes until the end of November this year.
