Bannings aren’t exactly a rarity in Magic, as sometimes, cards just have to go. However, it’s usually because old cards end up being too good with something new, or new techs being discovered. It’s generally a bad sign if a newer card needs to be banned. Of course, Wizards is far from perfect, and sometimes, they make mistakes. Big mistakes.
