Video Not Working? Fix It Now

December 2024 was certainly one of the months of all time when it came to VOCALOID. We can see this take effect in our Top 200 list of the Most Viewed VOCALOID Songs on YouTube. I added a few more songs that I believe are eligible to be included in the video, but not officially ranked. I wasn't able to add this in the video because I didn't consider it now, but if you have an issue with a song being in here because you think it doesn't meet the criteria of being put in the video, then feel free to leave a comment explaining why. I will not hear anyone out on 10.5 though, as a Discord poll took place where 100% of the voters responded yes for it to be included in the video.

Now for the new songs. This month saw the most new songs enter the Top 200 and also the most out of the Top 200. It's pretty crazy how much things can change. In fact, changes took place literally everywhere but like the 60th percentile of songs (around 90-60). We must also appreciate the rare occasion that there were TWO changes in the Top 10. That's absolutely crazy. TWO CHANGES?

Maybe in 2025, we will see just as crazy things happen in VOCALOID. Unfortunately, I don't think they will have the same effect as what Mesmerizer had in all of 2024 (regardless if you liked or disliked the song), but one can only hope for cool things.

If someone complains about Tetoris being in the thumbnail, please know that I would be excluding a VERY large part of the VOCALOID community if I were to exclude the different type of VSynths that existed. They are a huge part culturally and if anything VOCALOID nowadays is an umbrella term used to describe every VSynth. Of course, it changes meaning during context but with the way I am using the word "VOCALOID," I'm using it as a term to describe every VSynth. If you still have isues with this, please get out of my channel.

I hope you liked the new information statistic I've added once again: change in likes. I mean, at face value it doesn't really say much, but if you know what you are looking for you can tell if a song is going to decline in view growth soon, stay constant, or get an increase in view growth. However, that's really just a hypothesis for me and I'll need to look at more changes in the future to really see if my idea holds up. I'm thinking that Unknown Mother-Goose and Senbonzakura are going to slowly get an increase in views then steadily drop. For some reason, especially Senbonzakura, their growth was pretty big this month, but I think that can be attributed to the prolonged recording period.

I make no profit from this video and all producers have been credited. Everything in this video should be under fair use for educational and statistics purposes.

Two errors that I found post upload (which aren't statistical errors so like they're pretty irrelevant) is that Kyu-kurarin's note has a small typo where the word "in" should be "is." and that in the End Analytics section, I have misplaced the box so uhh yeah it's not properly centered... These and other more errors that were found will be listed in a reply to my pinned comment below. Oh and I misspelled subscribe at the end but all that does is give you the idea that you should actually subscribe!!!
