The slam dunk PBA Player of the Year for two years running, it would not be going out on a limb to call EJ Tackett of Bluffton, IN the greatest bowler in the world right about now.
Accuracy. Versatility. Ridiculous rev rate. Humility. Tackett's got 'em in spades.
WIth eight of his 23 PBA Tour titles coming in the past two seasons, it seems all four are serving him very well, too.
Tackett has about as much on his plate as he has accolades. Along with EZ Bowl, which now sports USBC certified string pins, he has events planned this month and the 2025 tour starting in about two weeks.
Most recently, he was announced as the leader of a MOTIV team consisting of Matt Russo, Tom Smallwood, AJ Johnson, Sam Cooley, Sean Lavery-Spahr, Nathan Bohr, Dick Allen, Ronnie Russell and Santtu Tahvanainen in the PBA Elite League: Battle of the Brands.
The scary part is that this 32-year-old, Triple Crown-winning future PBA Hall of Famer may just be hitting his prime years. We're ringing in the new year with one of bowling's absolute best on Ep. 190!
