Tor Sor is a new, original composition, by Ustad Noor Bakhsh. We recorded it live, in the final minutes before the sun dipped behind the mountains of Hingol, Balochistan.
He named the tune Tor Sor because it is composed of two fragments, the first in a Chanchal (7 beat cycle) and the second in a Keherwa (8 beat cycle).
