History and overview of my 95 Firebird track car build (so far). This is the Krabby Patty secret formula for people who want to build their 4th gen Camaro or Firebird to hang with newer cars around a road course. Some things to keep in mind:
1. The most important mod is the driver mod. You'll only get there with practice, so try to spend more time in the car than under it. Whipping it on the street doesn't count!!!
2. More adjustment isn't necessarily a good thing. Keep it simple, stupid.
3. The stock suspension geometry on these cars is pretty dang good and you can go very fast with it. Don't F it up unless you really know what you're doing and have #1 down.
4. Not every upgrade is an upgrade or worth the money. Be wary of marketing and the bandwagon effect. Don't bankrupt yourself on unnecessary mods before you get any seat time.
