Carer Godknows walks just behind Lundi as she follows lion tracks along the riverbed. When the tracks veer off the trail, Lundi doesn’t mind and instead takes the chance to enjoy a muddy bath. Something beneath the sand catches her attention, and she begins digging, using water from the stream to uncover it. Soon, Klaserie and her mother, Setombe, join them, also making their way along the riverbed, likely following the same tracks. When Setombe approaches the spot Lundi was foraging, Lundi steps aside without hesitation. As the dominant female, Setombe commands respect from the cows and younger bulls in the herd.
