In this tutorial, I go through 1) the traditional grip push/pull motion, 2) application to single-strokes for speed, and 3) some exercises and examples to develop the technique. A similar traditional grip technique has been used by Buddy Rich, Tommy Igoe, and Greyson Nekrutman.
