Way before the Partition of India in 1910, the resilient owner first settled in Dadar. This move brought the vibrant flavours of Maharashtrian home cooked food for the mill workers then, so much so that it’s been said that the batatawada was first started from this restaurant.
This 114 years old legacy is still serving that batatawada and the lip snacking home cooked meal for the common man at nominal prices.
