Making your own beef jerky has never been easier!

I took a family pack of lean ground beef and mixed it with Cabela's Open Season Jerky Mix. I then added half a cup of water and put it in the fridge to marinade overnight.
The next day I loaded up my Jerky Pistol from Cabela's and put on the snack stick nozzle. I then loaded up my smoking mats with the sticks.
I set my Traeger Select to the smoke setting and kept it there for the entire length of the cook. It held steady at about 165F the entire 4-5 hours it took for the jerky to get to the consistency I wanted.
