In this epic train driver's view video we embark on a journey together with driver Anna Helmersson again, from Pitkäjärvi in Sweden to Narvik in Norway. This train also uses two Bombardier TRAXX locomotives to power 18 loaded Iron Ore hoppers with a total weight of ~4400 tons (metric).
This legendary route is called Malmbanan (The Iron Ore Line) and was built during late 1800's and early 1900's, it was also the first major swedish railroad to get electrified as early as 1915. The norwegian part is named Ofotenbanen (Ofoten Line).
A special thank you to our "Train Driver"-level member: Matias Gabriel Riquelme Fernández.
