Sharing a short video on how to travel via train to Rabat from Asilah, the travel journey is almost 4 hours but very smooth and pleasant, I suggest taking the 1st class seat as it is not much different from the regular carriage except for a spacious leg room and you can put your luggage on the cabin above your seat.
The train journey cost 130MAD each. There's a train change in Sidi Kacem station where you just need to step down and cross to another platform.

but you don't have to if you enjoy travelling spontaneously like us which is a lot cheaper if you just go to the station counter, you just have to go there at least 30 minutes before the intended time there's a train every hour anyway or an hour and a half.
