Another visit to Crewe station on the West Coast Mainline on a cold, wet June afternoon. Just 2 days prior to this video being filmed Avanti West Coast introduced the class 805s into passenger service so look out for that featured in the video on a Chester to Euston service. Also featured is a Cross Country voyager. One of only a handful of XC services a day which go via Crewe non stop, mainly for driver competency over what is a diversionary route for them. Although the XC voyager did stop at a red signal, the service is booked non stop from Stockport to Stafford.
