An excellent evening spent at Harlington station on the Midland Mainline where we see plenty of services from East Midlands Trains and Thameslink. Harlington was built by the Midland Railway in 1868 when the line was being extended to St Pancras, its not an overly busy station in terms of passenger numbers with only 380,000 people using it last year. The original station building still stands to this day after it was refurbished by British Rail in the 1980's. It's an amazing station to come and on that I'm going to keep coming back to. My next station is going to be Brussels in Belgium.
