Leipzig tram system (Leipzig Straßenbahn) is one of the best examples of an excellent public transportation system. There are different types (Solaris Tramino Leipzig (NGT10), DWA NGT8, Bombardier NB4, Bombardier NGT12-LEI) of modern trams are used on a daily basis - they play an important role of Leipzig public transport. There are also some of the classic Tatra T4D trams still in operations, but not much of them are still left. Trams of Leipzig are operated by Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (Leipzig LVB).
