In today’s video, I build a modern sideboard. Or as others may call it, a console cabinet. I needed extra space for all of my son’s games so this sideboard is massive. I built this out of both maple hardwood for the doors and drawer fronts and maple plywood for the carcass. I love the simplicity of the piece with the hard lines contrasted with the organic lines in the drawer pulls and feet. This sideboard is perfect for adding style and a ton of extra storage space for any dining room or living room.
